CREW CHIEF/SUPERVISOR

Landall Restoration, LLC is a full-service restoration company specializing in water damage, mold remediation, fire & smoke damage, and storm events. We have a reconstruction division that provides additional services, creating a “one-stop shop” to our customers. We are located in Tacoma, Washington and service the surrounding communities, approximately a 30-mile radius.

Our company is seeking someone who is comfortable working hard in challenging situations, enjoys meeting new people, has excellent communication skills, enjoys supervising others, and is a serious multi-tasker. We are looking for an experienced Crew Chief/Supervisor who is well versed in insurance program work for mitigation. This person will need to work with the project managers who will handle the claim from beginning to end. The crew chief will complete the initial call to the customer, communicate with the project manager to ensure the proper authorizations are approved. 

We need an honest, hard worker, with a positive can-do attitude, and good communication skills.

This position requires a background check and the ability to go on a rotation of on call 24/7 as we are an emergency services company.

  • Compile data, sketches, customer info and any other data in an organized manner, including job folders

  • Manage job file documentation to ensure complete and accurate project details.

  • Communicate clear expectations to Production Technicians and supervise their activities.

  • Coordinate with Project Managers to aid with project demolition, content manipulation, and cleaning.

  • Become familiarized with all aspects of the business including structure losses, contents losses, emergency services, and water mitigations.

  • Explain process and answer customer questions, as needed.

  • Monitor, communicate, and respond to customer needs/concerns.

  • Perform production processes as scheduled and ensure quality control.

  • Identify safety hazards, communicate, and establish control measures to ensure the safety of occupants and workers.

  • Manage and control costs of production projects.

  • Manage assets by protecting and using equipment and materials properly.

  • Clean and maintain vehicles, equipment, warehouse and office areas as needed.

  • Attend any continuing education classes deemed necessary by management.

  • Crew Chiefs will be required to participate on an on-call rotation for emergency services.

  • All other duties as assigned.

Benefits:

  • Pay is depending on experience. $25-30 per hour. DOE

  • Medical insurance after a 90-day probationary period.

  • Paid Time off starts accruing immediately and equals to 80 hrs. in the first year

  • Clear training and professional development track.

  • Paid Training and Certifications after 6 months

  • On-Call Pay

  • Expense Reimbursements

Hours:

  • Position is full time. Monday – Friday 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM

  • Occasional weekends and overtime when necessary.

  • A typical week consists of 40 hours with occasional overtime.

Qualifications:

  • Clean driving record.

  • Pass a criminal background check – no crimes against people or drug convictions.

  • Strong work ethic.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

  • Ability to work long hours and maintain a positive attitude.

  • Strong communication skills.

Full-Time

PRODUCTION TECHNICIAN

Landall Restoration, LLC is recruiting for entry level or experienced water damage technicians. If you are looking for a company that values you, with great opportunities for advancement, on the job training and company paid industry certifications, this may be the place for you!

Landall Restoration, LLC is a full-service restoration company specializing in water damage, mold remediation, fire & smoke damage, and storm events. We have a reconstruction division that provides additional services, creating a “one-stop shop” to our customers. We are located in Tacoma, Washington and service the surrounding communities, approximately a 30-mile radius.

This position is responsible for assisting customers with the restoration of their home after a major water damage. A water technician's main objective is to remove as much water as possible from the home using extraction methods. The technician will then evaluate building materials to be salvaged or removed. The technician will setup equipment to control the humidity in the environment until the areas are deemed dry.

We are hiring for both experienced and entry-level technicians. We will train the right candidate. Candidates for this position will need to have a positive attitude, be team oriented, and have the ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment. We are seeking individuals who are hardworking, self-motivated, and energetic. Job Duties:

  • Meet with Project Managers, Customers, and/or Customers' Agents to obtain complete understanding of job requirements and documents as necessary before project start

  • Document damage on moisture mapping software

  • Remove standing water from affected area using extraction methods.

  • Setup appropriate amounts of equipment to dry structure.

  • Remove affected building materials when deemed non-salvageable

  • Clearly communicate all job requirements including but not necessarily limited to: job schedules, work plans, equipment usage, hazardous conditions and safety procedures, damage control procedures, job site layout, and emergency procedures

  • Complete and forward all necessary paperwork as directed

  • Communicate with customer's agents, other contractors, subcontractors, and others as required

  • Always maintain and promote good customer relations

  • Comply with company policy and procedural guidelines

  • Clean and maintain vehicles, equipment, warehouse and office areas as needed.

  • Technicians will be required to participate on an on-call rotation for emergency services.
